Split a PDF into separate files — free and private
To split a PDF, drop it here, type the page ranges you want (for example 1-3, 4-6, 7-) or choose one file per page, then press Split PDF. Each range becomes its own PDF, created inside your browser without uploading anything.
How to do it in 3 steps
- Add the PDF. Drag it in or click the box.
- Choose how to split. Type ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, 7- or pick one file per page.
- Download the parts. Save each file, or use Download all.
About this tool
Splitting is useful when a long scan contains several documents, when you need to send only a few pages, or when a form must be uploaded one page at a time. Ranges are separated by commas; an open range like 7- means "page 7 to the end".
Every part keeps its original quality. If you only want to keep certain pages in a single file, use Extract Pages instead; to remove pages, use Delete PDF Pages.
Why use it
- Private: the file never leaves your device.
- Flexible ranges, or every page separately.
- No watermark and no sign-up.
- Original text and images are preserved.
